Easy Cheese Rolls

Delicious, soft cheese rolls made with Greek yoghurt. Quick, easy, and perfect for Christmas, soup, or lunchboxes.

Ingredients
  

  • 300 g self raising flour - or use plain flour and sift in 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 80 g cheddar cheese grated plus 2 tablespoons extra to top the rolls
  • ½ tsp salt - optional
  • 330 g thick greek yoghurt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven 200ºc fan or air fryer 170c
  • Mix together the flour, cheese, salt and yoghurt, work it into a dough. If its very sticky add a bit of flour.
  • Shape into a round and divide into 8 pieces.
  • Roll each dough ball into a little roll shape.
  • Airfry: Spray the basket add the rolls, bake for 6 minutes, then add the extra cheese and bake again for another 5-6 minutes.
  • Oven: Line a baking tray with parchment paper, put the rolls on the tray, top with the cheese. Bake for 20 minutes, until they are nice and golden.
  • Once baked put them on a wire rack to cool.
  • Storage: Store in an air tight container for 3 days.
  • Freezer: Good in the freezer for 3 months, defrost overnight.
  • Lunchbox: Serve as they are or with butter and a filling along with fruit, yoghurt and whatever else your child likes.
