3 Weekend Breakfast Recipes

We love making a big breakfast on the weekends when time allows—it’s a fun way to start the day together. Waffles, pancakes, and fresh carrot and orange juice are our 3 weekend breakfast recipes I make regularly.

I like to set up a little topping station for the waffles and pancakes with fresh fruit, yogurt, honey, and nut butters so everyone can choose their own toppings! We also set up a mini juice bar with our fresh carrot and orange juice, which is packed with vitamins and a great energy boost for the day. Plus, I always make extra pancakes and waffles to freeze—perfect for quick, healthy lunches or snacks during the busy school week.

This recipe has become a favourite in our house—not just for lazy weekend mornings, but also for making ahead and popping into lunchboxes during the week. They’re really versatile too, so you can add whatever you like to the batter or switch up the toppings. My kids love theirs with a dollop of yoghurt, a spoonful of my homemade raspberry chia jam, and some sliced banana. It’s a simple, tasty way to start the day.
