Spider Web Apple Donuts

Ingredients
  

  • 1 big eating apple
  • 150 g dark or milk chocolate i used dark chocolate
  • 50 g white chocolate

Instructions
 

  • Line a small tray with parchment paper. Have a cocktail stick at hand for later.
  • Slice the apple into 4 slices. Use a small round cutter to cut out the donut centre.
  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a bowl over a simmering pot of water.
  • Dip the first apple slice in the melted chocolate carefully cover in chocolate and using a spatula transfer the slice onto the baking tray. Repeat. Chill for 20 minutes in the fridge.
  • Then melt the white chocolate in the microwave, it can burn easily, heat it in small bursts. Mix vigorously with a spoon. To make the white webs, spoon in thin lines of white chocolate around the apple pieces to make 2 circles, using the cocktail stick made lines from the centre out to the edge. Chill the slices again for at least 20 minutes and serve.
